Union Fall Wine Dinner October 19th. Union Fall Wine Dinner Union is grateful for the opportunity to invite you to an amazing evening with our talented friends, Bill and Cindy Wenzlau of Wenzlau Vineyards and Jeff Fischer of Habit, for our Fall Wine Dinner. Chef Chris Keyser and the Union team created an inspired and dynamic seven course dinner to pair with the exceptional and unique wines from Wenzlau Vineyards and Habit Wines. Bill & Cindy Wenzlau started Wenzlau Vineyards over a decade ago in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Their passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines resonates in Wenzlau’s ethos: “Produce the highest quality, organically grown fruits, so that the wines made from those grapes reflect the specific sense of place.” Jeff Fischer is the sole proprietor and winemaker for Habit which he founded in Los Olivos in 2008. Fischer’s wines focus on high acidity, lower alcohol, and strive to showcase varietal. The vineyards are sustainably or organically farmed. He utilizes reductive winemaking techniques, punch downs only by hand, keep the wines bright, fresh, and clean.
